Privacy Policy

MELECE takes your personal information seriously. MELECE is operated by Guangzhou Qingtian Internet Co., Ltd. ("we", "us"). This policy explains what we collect, why, how we use and protect it, and what rights you have. We are the controller of your personal information.

1. Information we collect

We do not collect or store your full payment account password or card PIN. Online payments are completed on the payment provider's page; we only receive the payment result and the transaction identifiers we need.

2. Our legal bases for processing

• Performance of a contract: processing orders, delivering, taking payment and issuing refunds, and providing after-sales support;
• Legal obligation: retaining transaction and tax records as required, and responding to lawful requests from regulators and judicial authorities;
• Our legitimate interests: preventing fraud and abuse, keeping the site and accounts secure, and improving our products and service (we have balanced these against your rights);
• Your consent: sending marketing emails and using non-essential analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal.

3. How we use it

• To process and deliver orders and to complete payments and refunds;
• To provide after-sales, returns and customer support;
• To detect and prevent fraud, abuse and security risks;
• With your consent, to send news and offers (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• To analyse site usage so we can improve our products and experience.

4. Cookies and similar technologies

We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your language and cart, and measure traffic. By purpose they fall into three groups:

• Strictly necessary — sign-in state, cart, and checkout security checks. If you disable these, signing in, the cart and checkout will not work properly;
• Functional — remembering your language, currency and display preferences;
• Analytics — understanding traffic levels and page performance in aggregate so we can improve the site.

We do not run cross-site behavioural advertising. This store does not embed third-party advertising tracking pixels and does not sell your browsing history to advertisers. If we ever introduce such technology, we will update this policy first and obtain any consent the law requires. You can disable cookies in your browser, but signing in, the cart and checkout may then stop working properly.

5. Sharing

We never sell your personal information, and we do not allow our partners to use it for their own marketing. We share it only where necessary, with:

• Delivery carriers — recipient name, phone and address, so your parcel can be delivered;
• Payment providers — to take and refund payments;
• Email service providers — to send order notifications and newsletters;
• Cloud and security providers — for hosting, storage and risk control;
• Legal requirements — where we are lawfully required to disclose to judicial or regulatory authorities.

6. Retention and security

• Data is held on our servers and compliant cloud services. We use access controls, encrypted transmission and salted password hashing to protect it;
• How long we keep it: account information for as long as your account is active; order and transaction records for as long as tax and consumer-protection law requires (generally at least 3 years after the transaction); marketing subscription data until you unsubscribe; analytics data in aggregate form. After these periods we delete or anonymise it;
• No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed absolutely secure, so please use a strong password and keep your account safe;
• If a data security incident occurs that may affect your rights, we will notify you of the circumstances and what to do, through an on-site notice or email, as the law requires.

7. Your rights

To the extent the applicable law provides, you may at any time ask us to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you;
• Rectify inaccurate or incomplete account and delivery details (you can do this yourself in My Account);
• Erase your account and related personal information (except transaction records we are legally required to keep);
• Restrict processing while you contest the accuracy or lawfulness of our processing;
• Port the information you gave us, in a structured, commonly used format;
• Object to processing based on legitimate interests, and to processing for direct marketing at any time;
• Withdraw consent you previously gave;
• Complain to the data protection authority you are entitled to complain to.

To exercise these rights, email info@melece.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We will respond within a reasonable period, normally within 30 days. Exercising your rights is free of charge.

8. Marketing and unsubscribing

We send marketing email only if you subscribed or explicitly opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of any email, or turn it off in your account settings. After unsubscribing you will still receive essential transaction messages such as order status, dispatch and refund notices, because they are necessary to complete your order.

9. Minors

This site does not offer accounts to minors on their own. If you are under 18 (or under the age of majority where you live), please use and transact on this site only with the consent and company of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected a child's personal information, we will delete it promptly.

10. International transfers

Because we use international cloud, logistics and payment partners, your information may be processed on servers outside your country or region. We require those parties to protect your information to the same standard set out in this policy, and we put appropriate contractual or security measures in place where the law requires.

11. Other jurisdictions and non-derogation

If the law of your country or region (for example the EU or the UK) gives you broader rights than this policy, this policy does not diminish those statutory rights, and we will meet them as the applicable law requires.

12. Updates to this policy

We may update this policy. Updates are published on this page with an effective date. Where a change materially affects how we process your information, we will tell you before it takes effect through an on-site notice or by email.
